1 /5 Mr. Takos: Riley was the guardian ad litem for my divorce custody disagreement. He was appointed by the court. My ex had moved from the south to IL, then wanted to move from IL to FL because she met someone. He interviewed me and told me upon arrival that the future step dad was a really good guy, raved about him and his job. He blatantly told me that I had no S/O to fall back on in emergency, and my union job didnt make enough money.. His exact words were, "If my children were moving away, I would follow." Yah. Union job to a non union state really transfers well. So he ruled that my ex should be allowed to move away with my children, which she did, and I chased well. I couldnt get a foothold, making 10 dollars an hour in Florida. I was forced to move to SC. Now its been a period of about 8 to 10 years, that I havent been able to see my children properly because of his recommendation this coupled with my ex doing her best to slowly remove me through attrition. I barely get to speak with my one of my sons, and my other being on the spectrum who I never get to speak with is great. Then my daughter, the best friend I had, doesnt have time for me anymore and thinks ill of me because I no longer associate with her mother. It was the best when I got to watch her dance with her stepfather at her quince that I had to basically crash. Thanks again, Riley. Youre a real stand-up guy. I also really appreciated you walking around the office during the interview with a gun on your hip. Definitely not intimidating at all. Youre such a good guy that you allowed the alienation of a dedicated father, causing him to break down and give up almost on life, too. Im.now just being able to rebuild.
