5 /5 Tim Fallon: Dads can be custodial parent! During what was undoubtedly one of the most challenging times of my life, Teresa McAdams proved to be an invaluable support. She navigated through my divorce proceedings with sensitivity and grace. Teresa was thorough in her approach, making sure I understood all my options for child custody. Her genuine care and empathy made a significant difference in my experience. The process was just over two years from the day I filed for divorce. After psych evals and a GAL, I was awarded full custody of one child and primary custody of the other two. My ex went through a local attorney that ended up firing her after the psych evals and then she hired a Chicago attorney at Davis Friedmans law firm. This just goes to show you that you don’t need to pay $525 an hour for a Chicago attorney to be represented. Teresa’s paralegal Lori was the best! Lori’s professionalism and timely communication helped alleviate my stress. At times I think I used her more as a therapist! I am deeply grateful for her service and highly recommend Teresa McAdams to anyone facing similar circumstances.

5 /5 Kate: I hired Teresa McAdams as my attorney in 2021 and she & her team are still helping me fight in court today. After a brief attempt with an attorney that was very much not up to the task, someone recommended Teresa, and we have never once regretted the switch! My divorce was *extremely* difficult and dirty, and Ms. McAdams handled everything thrown at us by opposing council like a complete pro. My divorce was finalized in 2023, however we are still being thrown curveballs (here in 2025). This firm has continued to work through the many issues and trials we have had to deal with, and I couldnt be happier with the work theyve done. The staff (especially Mrs. McAdams paralegal, Lori) have been truly phenomenal. On a side note, Id also like to say that, unlike many attorneys out there, they bill fairly and dont try to wrack up huge numbers for the sake of a profit. As a single mom and sole parent to 4, its really great to have an attorney and team thats honest and works hard to fight for you! I cant recommend them enough.
