Buying a home sounded fun until I realized it involved more paperwork than a NASA launch and a glossary of terms I was pretty sure were made up. “Escrow”? “Title insurance”? “Easement rights”? Totally fine, definitely didn’t Google every single one at 1 a.m. Enter Michael LaCava who calmly and expertly walked us through every step, caught every little landmine buried in the fine print, and made sure we didn’t accidentally sign over our souls along with the property.
