OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center - Dixon

Nathan Update 5/27/25 - Patient financial services reached out to me to discuss this case. There were some mistakes made and upon further review determined that the original dispute was never formally closed. Financial services made good on the original discussions from 2023 and are resolving the issue and mailing a copy of the updated invoice with updated balance. What this shows to me is that the organization does take patient satisfaction seriously. It did take multiple conversations with several different people across many months and several escalations, but ultimately the persistence resulted in proper resolution and I thank the team for their support in seeing it through. Changing my rating from 1 star to 4. My appreciation to this resolution cannot be understated. Original Review (1 star): I received Emergency service in July of 2023 from KSB. This service required a rabies vaccine and subsequent follow up vaccines for the series. I was told I would pay for the initial visit and vaccine and the follow up (3 shots) would be included as part of the first bill and I would not be billed for the subsequent visits. I paid the initial bill immediately then was billed for the 3 additional shots by KSB and I disputed these. In that dispute I received confirmation I would not be responsible for the bills and would not receive follow up bills. This remained true until 2025. Once OSF took over in January 2025, I received those bills again. I disputed the bills and nothing was done. I was given 2 verbal commitments from the organization (the ED Doctor and the billing department that called back from my initial dispute) that I would not be responsible for those bills and now I am being required to pay or be taken up through claims.

TrustBank - Olney

Elizabeth Collins Paula Kocher assisted me with completing my home loan. She was amazing the entire process and made it so easy and did all this while I lived out of state! She is kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond by collaborating with her peers to come up with a list of potential contractors to complete some work I need done. I am so grateful for her professionalism and generosity of spirit!

Casey State Bank - Robinson

Joe L I just wrote a review of the Marshall Branch of Casey State Bank, which I gave 2 stars. The issue I have with both branches is the employees are clearly undertrained, and with the Casey State Bank in general for their clear lack of concern for their customers. After issues with closing my Dads bank accounts and opening an estate account after he passed away 2 months ago. My brother and I did this at the Marshall Branch. I decided to close the account with Casey Bank and open a new estate account at Regions in Robinson. Since I was going to Regions in Robinson, I went to the Robinson Branch of Casey State Bank. I walked into the branch, stated my name, and said that I wanted to close my dads estate account. Just like at the Marshall Branch, no one at the branch knew what to do. The person helping me had to make 2 or 3 phone calls to get instructions on how to help me. After she cut the check, she simply handed me the check. Though I had my wallet sitting on the counter to show her my ID, I was never asked for one. This was a check in the amount of 5 digits. I was shocked that I was never asked for an ID. Anyone could have walked into that bank and stated they were me and wanted to close my dads estate account, and would have been given the check. I dont blame the teller, I blame the bank. If she had been properly trained, and not so distracted by learning how to close the account while doing it, she probably would have remembered to ask for my ID. I have no doubt that I could have made the same mistake if I had been in her shoes.
