To be a tenant of his, you need to tread very carefully under his supervision. My experience with his property was ok but i wouldnt recommend him as a landlord to anyone else.
As far as his involvement in this property goes, he is very unresponsive on the maintenance. The hallway would remain dirty for months. In the winter, the plaster on the ceiling would fall after the snow and it would lay there without being taken care of for a month before the cleaning person comes.
