1 /5 Brendan Lawson: By far the biggest waste of time and money. It all started by missing my very first court date and only to find out because I looked it up on casenet and his response being “I texted them to let them know.” He didn’t even enter his appearance as my attorney until after my first court date. Then from January of 2023 until May of 2023 I had zero communication after leaving multiple messages with his reception, texting and calling his personal phone.(which was provided to make this easier) I eventually contacted another attorney about taking my case. This attorney told me he would talk to Dave and informed him I was seeking new representation, that very day I received a call. Even after that phone call where I expressed my concerns and was promised it would be handled better, at this point not shocked a little bit, it was not. Every month that it was continued, I would call to ask for a reason with either the office not answering the phone or leaving a message with no return call. It got to the point where my calls were only getting answered if I used *67 on my number or used someone else’s phone. It was beyond frustrating! My case got passed off in late fall of 2023 to Maria who was much more interested in dealing with my case. She was wonderful to work with, communicated semi-regularly and that is the only upside.
It took 17 full months to close my case when I was told the day I met with Dave in December of 2022 “this will be settled before your first ever court date.” Take your business elsewhere and save yourself a headache.
