5 /5 linda duren: a small bank that feels independent, they dont just push you in and out the door. I moved from a national chain to Blackhawk because here, they remember you and treat you like you matter.
2 /5 Rebecca S: I used to bank at BHB&T but stopped because there seemed to be quite a bit more fees than other banks in our area. There also seems to be constant problems with their ATMs at their older locations.
What prompted me to finally leave was when I was asked to show ID to cash a $10.00 check. This was after being in there every single week for years on end to cash my paycheck. The check was also from someone that banked there as well and I had enough money in my own account to cover it. I didnt necessarily mind being asked for ID, but the teller was quite rude about it.
The bank Im at now knows me by name when I come in and is always very friendly.
