1 /5 Kevin R: Really not sure where the positive reviews came from on this. Simply stopped by to see if I could set up an appointment for a consultation for a child custody issue. After giving my info to the female at the front desk the attorney opened the door and asked if I had an appointment. I explained I did not and was just interested in trying to set when up when she was available. She rudely responded with well we are very busy with court. I explained it didnt have to be today and that I was interested in trying to get in when possible. She immediately responded with well its going to cost you $250 to speak with me. I advised her that my insurance recommend her and was covering the consultation fee. She stated that they dont cover her services (even though I reverified after and even had another attorney accept it). Since she was obvious not willing to take this case for some unknown reason I asked for her advice on if she knew any other good custody attorneys and she immediately responded with a rude no and to leave. I honestly cant believe someone whos job it is to speak for others can barely speak appropriately to someone willing to pay for their services. Not sure if she was having a bad day of if this is normal but if you cant control your emotions outside of the court room I most certainly dont want you representing me inside it.

5 /5 Kym Meyer: The first thing that stood out to me about Ms.Ballard is that she genuinely wanted to gather all of the facts surrounding the case and was very forward with the fact that she would not take on a client if she didnt fully believe it was in the best interest of the child. That made me feel not only that her moral compass was facing north but that she truly cared about her clients and her job. Ms. Ballard was on my case immediately fighting for me. She kept me informed throughout the whole proceedings and confirmed with me before filing anything. She was a blessing to work with and went above and beyond all expectations.

She is good at what she does. I only wish I would have found her sooner so I could have saved my son. Attorney Ballard understood my situation and exactly what I was going through, what I wanted and what I wanted to get accomplished. At times it felt like she could read my mind because she would get things done without me asking! I live out of state and for the first time in the last 18 years of going to court, I was as stress free as could be even on court dates because I knew she was taking care of it.
