5 /5 John Paul Marks: Aaron is great he helped my sister Lidia get out of her lease when others told us it couldn’t be done but Aaron proved them wrong and found a flaw in her lease that allowed us to terminate it. He is fast and extremely responsive. One thing I really liked about Aaron he is a straightforward guy he gets to the point and doesn’t sugarcoat anything. Aaron will do everything in his power to actually help you when other lawyers would probably take weeks to act on your behalf Aaron will do it in days he is very efficient. If you’re looking to break your lease and you want a strong lawyer with good resources and knowledge I highly recommend Aaron he knows what he’s talking about he is an absolute professional. I told my landlord my boyfriend moved in and instead of trying to work something out with me that was reasonable, he tried to wrongfully ask for a $3,600 fee, and then wanted $200 more in my rent going forward. I had already been a tenant of his for about 2.5 years, so this ask was shocking. I tried to negotiate with my landlord, told him this goes against Chicago renting laws, but he was being very stubborn and only wanted more money. I decided I no longer felt comfortable living in his unit. I tried to negotiate breaking my lease, and gave him a VERY generous offer. (he could keep my security deposit, Ill give 1 month additional rent, and still pay rent on the 1st) but hes so GREEDY and it wasnt enough for him. He countered with asking I pay 5x rent to break the lease. Thats when I found Aaron online, and sent him a summary of what was going on. He asked for a copy of my lease and said if I wanted to leave the next day without paying anything, I could! Turns out having a lease renewal written on a word document, and no Chicago renting laws attached makes it an easy case haha. Becuase of Aaron, I was able to walk away from my lease without haing to pay my landlord ANYTHING! And my landlord had to PAY ME back my security deposit! If youre going through something, I would recommend Aaron to help out. He made everything easy for me, he could probably help you out too!

Aaron knew hed be able to get the deposit back plus applicable damages - it was a slam dunk. He got the ball rolling and provided updates along the way, periodically reiterating that wed win, and he was right! I cannot recommend Aaron enough for any matters related to Chicagos RLTO.
