jrobe628 I have used Edward Jones’ agent Jim Smothers for ~ 15 years and would highly recommend him and his assistant Tracy . The primary factors when dealing with a financial advisor to me are: do you feel secure in your investments, can you easily access your adviser, are questions answered expeditiously, logically and clearly,are your investments secure, and finally are you achieving a reasonable rate of return? I would grade Jim and the entire Edward Jones establishment an A+.

Gopal KV Theyre nice people, for sure. I worked with Christina Kramlich. But if youre a fresh grad tech money and pay these people $3,500 for a financial plan, you cannot possibly get your moneys worth. They will ultimately tell you the same thing you could learn by using any free personal finance app: max out your 401(k) and in a few years you can buy a house, and you can retire comfortably at 55.
