5 /5 James Wiggins: In 2010, I contacted Attorney Thomas to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, from the initial consultation she was very professional and made the entire experience less challenging. Following her direction, my case proceeded quickly and efficiently, throughout the entire length of the bankruptcy. My bankruptcy was scheduled to run 60 months, during this time I made my payments however, issues did arise which created challenges and Attorney Thomas was always there by phone or email to answer any questions or concerns in a very timely manner. Whether it was mail from the court where I needed clarification or when I had to replace my non- repairable car, she provided the direction, and court support needed to obtain permission from the Trustee to obtain another vehicle – while I was still in bankruptcy. I was also able to purchase a new home, with similar payments for the apartment I was living at the time I had declared bankruptcy. I was able to do this with my VA loan and careful documentation provided to the court with Attorney Thomas representation. My youngest also completed college and graduate school during this period. I know that my faith in God and the knowledge he will provide for his children has played the largest factor in the blessings my family and I have received, however, I also believe that God has helpers who serve him and his people and Attorney Thomas is one of those.
