1 /5 Larae Monroe: Karen Pass is the worst attorney around. Me and my family paid her almost $3000 dollars. The first conversation she will bamboozle you into thinking she knows all these people and she will make things happen. She didnt explain the process just what she can do. After, she gets your payment she becomes rude and unresponsive. We paid her $2500 up front, the next payment of $400 was due on the 4th of July. It slipped my sisters mind because of the holiday. She was so rude and nasty to my sister because she forgot to send it even stating she wasnt going to see my brother until she received payment. When in fact she should have seen him after the initial payment. She still never went to see him or talked to him after we paid her. She got an account of what happened from us but she never talked to him personally to get a first hand account of the story. She waited until the last minute to try and visit and there was always an excuse why she didnt see him. She had almost a month to visit him before his hearing. Nevertheless, she appeared at his bond hearing, which turned out to be a joke. She represented him from the car. She never filed anything but an entry of appearance. She had documents she was trying to show over her camera phone, so unprofessional. I could have represented him better than her. She never looked at any of the evidence and kept repeating the same thing about his medical history which the judge was not trying to hear. She had no rebuttal for the DAs claims against him because she didnt review the case or evidence before the hearing. I honestly wish we kept the public defender he did a better job defending my brother. It was sad and waste of money. She is playing with peoples freedom. We didnt expect her to move mountains, we know the judge has the final say but she did not even defend him. She didnt call us after the hearing to explain what happened or anything. We hired a new attorney after initial payment he went to see my brother immediately and he stated she did a horrible job representing him. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Money was never the issue. We paid you $2500 the same day we spoke with you why would it be an issue to pay $400. My sister was never rude you were. Can you give us an invoice that shows the hours you worked this case. Thank GOD!! we didnt give you the full amount because you didnt deserve the $2900. As an attorney you have time to fact check a post instead of working on your cases. I did not fabricate one sentence in my review I definitely wouldnt lie on anyone else. I wish we could pull the hearing but as you should know as an attorney those recordings are not for the public. Its factual you were sitting in a car and showing documents over your camera phone that werent legible. Now what can be checked is filings on his case and the only thing you filed was an EOA! You have several reviews that express the same concern as me. Everybody cant be telling untruths about you. Do better KAREN!!!!!
