5 /5 Shibby: So I want to start off by giving a huge shoutout to Shay Jackson!! She is amazing!!! I got into an accident with someone who is insured with Southern Trust, and the adjuster for my case (Shay Jackson) went above and beyond to help me with my claim. I was nervous because of the one star reviews for Southern Trust in general. However, Shay was a blessing and helped me get through the process to keep my Jeep! Her actions are worthy of more than 5 stars, bc the Jeep in question Ive owned/upgraded for 13 years and has a lot of sentimental value and personal memories. She answered all my questions and I feel like she genuinely cared. As a manager I would love to have a Shay on my team! She is highly professional and personable. I am grateful for the amazing experience she has provided! Shay Jackson deserves all the praise and I hope she is recognized for her outstanding character and professionalism!

1 /5 Robert Williams: Firstly, Ill like to say that I give reviews on commendatory and derogatory services in which I receive. I think its important that I relay the product to you. In this case its not so good. I was struck by these peoples client in the rear in which damaged my D/S rear taillight and bumper. Police report was conducted and it clearly states their client was at fault. Their client told the Officer that she didnt see my truck it was in a blind spot. She was a very nice lady. I gets the police report and call (02/20/2025) these folks (Southern Trust) and file the claim with them. The first thing that so called adjuster (Shauna Woodard) told me was we dont go by the police report and she needs a statement from her client. What the What ! Thats the baseline of the insurance submittal the report. From day one I had the feeling these folks arent trying to fulfill their obligations. So after about a week (02/25/2025) I hadnt received no update, so I email Woodard and no response. So I started looking at reviews of this place and there it was people expressing unsatisfactory of Woodard all over Google. While reading the reviews some one mention to call Jay Buchanan the Manager of claims, so I did on 03/06/2025. He responded with hell reach out to Woodard, But didnt hear from her So today (03/12/2025 I send Buchanan another email and no reply. Then I called Woodard expecting no results and didnt get any. She told me the same as she did when I first called on 02/20/2025 that shes awaiting a statement from her client. Its been almost a month and no statement yet. In closing, She called back a couple of hours later that day and told me she has her clients statement. Ok, you got it now. Whatever ! Their outcome was that both parties were at fault (Liars). I had to wait a entire month to hear that trash of support. I must say this was the worst experience of support from a Company ever. Be aware of these folks and pray they dont have client thats in a accident with you out there fault. A Total Failure of a Insurance Company. I will make sure none of my friends and family support you in any way. Semper Fi

1 /5 Jesus Arias: I don’t ever post reviews but this is by far the worst experience I have had with an insurance company in my life. I was hit by someone insured by Southern Trust and the entire time they have been non-responsive. The adjuster never picks up the phone, never responds to email, and was extremely rude to me the one time they did pick up. Your client hit my car! Furthermore, they keep forgetting to extend my rental while my car is in the shop! I have to call and call and call again until they finally do it. Hope and pray you are never in an accident with someone insured by this company.

My mortgage company was notified in February that my homeowners insurance would be canceled; however, I wasn’t sent a notification until June 14 about July 17th cancellation leaving me less than 30 days to find coverage (which is legal according to the Ga. Insurance Commission) 2. The reason for cancellation was: (1) Failure to replace not repair roof from 1st claim (which was not enough to replace). I submitted a 2nd claim for Hurricane Helene. Moving forward, the roof was replaced on July 7th and Southern Trust refused to renew due to 2 claims. We were good customers since 2011-2025 and this is how you treat someone for (2) claims. When I called to speak to someone at Southern Trust 7/14, I was told to direct all concerns to my agent. In the past, I have spoken directly to a Southern Trust representative. I feel very betrayed

In the 10 years I’ve been with this company I’ve had two claims one in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and I was severely underpaid on both which resulted in me paying out of pocket for major repairs. To repair my privacy fence, a broken window, roof, and repair and repair my first floor ceiling I was given only $5,000. I was told my my unprofessional adjuster Steve Dunn that after the repair of each issue I can submit for depreciation reimbursement only to have done this to be hit with some exclusion as to why I don’t qualify. My home was built in 2010 and you would think it’s a 80 year old house the way they’ve handled my claim. Needless to say I’ve switched insurance providers and will never look back. It’s unfortunate due to the excessive number of claims submitted to the state insurance commission I get no real recourse due to the volume of insurance complaints following Helene. Truly ridiculous.
