1 /5 Shelby - Alicante: Absolutely terrible customer service. I’ve called the bank 26 times just in one week, during normal business hours, and not once has anyone answered the phone.
Their automated system gives you a list of options, but no matter what you press, you’re placed on hold indefinitely — only for the call to eventually disconnect after an hour or more.
I had a very simple issue: I needed a replacement debit card because mine expired two months ago and I never received a new one. Every time I somehow manage to reach a live person (after hours of calling), they just transfer me to another line — which again results in being placed on hold for over an hour and disconnected. It’s just no focus on customer service - one person can take your report of a missing card, then tells YOU to call someone else to request a replacement card.
To make things worse, you can’t even transfer money online from your checking account to another person unless you open an additional savings account. That’s just absurd.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. No accountability, no urgency, and no support whatsoever. Renasant Bank has wasted my time and failed to provide the most basic customer service.
I would give zero stars if I could.
