5 /5 Stefny G. Ankney: There are 3 blessings that I thank God for almost daily: 1. My Family, 2. My Freedom and 3. Ralph Scoccimaro.
It is because of Ralph’s tireless hard work and personal devotion to his profession that I am able to enjoy my family and freedom on a daily basis. He is truly my hero. I was wrongfully prosecuted for abusing my then 3-year-old daughter. During the investigation, it was discovered that she was actually abused by her stepmother. Yet, I was still charged. Ralph fought diligently for me for a full year before we finally made it to trial. Mind you, he not only was helping me with the criminal portion, but he also represented me in the custody battle, as well. Because of him, I was awarded custody back of my daughter more than 30 days before my case was heard in court. I was acquitted of all criminal charges, as well. After all was said and done on the criminal charges and custody, he then helped me win a civil law suit against my persecutors.
Because of everything that Ralph and his whole team did for me, I have had the blessing of being able to watch my toddler grow into a beautiful and productive adult. She was able to live her childhood in a safe environment where she was loved and happy. She is who she is today because of hours upon hours of work this man put forth for her all those years ago.
