5 /5 Shawn Reeves: Having worked with Max and Grace for a full year, I wouldnt think of hiring any other firm when it comes to family law. I hired Porchlight to be my counsel in a contested divorce, the negotiations for which lasted one year. At all times, I felt fully, compassionately, professionally, responsively, and expertly represented. Max and Grace kept me aware of what was happening and why, when and how. They made sure I was making well-informed decisions, and they asserted their guidance in a way that kept me comfortable and confident. They were proactive in their thinking and strategic in their planning. I especially appreciated how well they tempered my emotion and help me think dispassionately about whatever was at hand. I always knew they had my interests at heart and my case in mind. Under their leadership and counsel, we resolved the divorce, and I am fully satisfied with the outcome. 3 /5 Trice d: I am writing this review just as information. Max is very sweet, gentle and informative. I had my legal strategy call with her on yesterday. I was excited when I thought I had found a firm that had flat fee pricing and thought it would be affordable. I wish when you call the firm that they would give you pricing upfront instead of having you spend $250 to speak with her for 45 minutes to learn the price. During the strategy call we discussed what my husband is requesting but not necessarily what we would counter with, Max informed me of the divorce process and what stage we were currently in, I was informed that the divorce process can take anywhere from 6-9 months. During the strategy call I was informed that the firm works on a quarterly contract (you can retain the firm for 3 months at a time) at the rate of $8,600 per quarter (this is the rate I was quoted). I will say Max was able to direct me to the Atlanta Bar Association to see if I could find someone affordable. If you are a single parent that is trying to find your way through this process this may not be the route to go. I do feel like I wasted $250. I gave a rating of 3 because due to the price, and Max was very nice, polite and professional.

They are very communicative and their online portal makes everything super easy to keep track of my case. I highly recommend them. Also the flat rate price was great too! There was no guessing on the cost and it didnt change because it was a flat rate :)

It all proceeded very smoothly, ask things considered, and I loved that the focus was an amicable divorce ask the way around; it helped keep my focus on that and navigate issues much more positively. This is certainly the best value for divorce law that I found in Atlanta. I would very strongly recommend them.
