1 /5 Dana Funderburk: Take my advice & find another attorney to represent you bc I used Adam Nagel for a simple deed transfer from my fathers name into mine. He was booked up at the time and said it would take a few weeks. I explained the urgency as I needed to get a home equity loan to remodel my bathroom that has a major leak & its causing mold. My pregnant daughter lives with me & waiting isnt an option. He offered to expedite it for more money. So I obliged & paid the extra to only receive a call from our loan officer at our bank that he put the wrong home in my name & it was holding up my loan. My father owns 2 houses side by side. Adams excuse was he copied the info from the last sale of the property and didnt pay attention as it didnt have a specific track #. He offers to correct it for another $200. His mistake and he even admitted it was his mistake on the phone to me. So I paid an extra $100 to expedite it for it only to take longer & for him to mess up and then an extra $200 for him to correct his mistake on top of the original fees. I understand mistakes happen but seriously something that is simple as changing names on a deed & filing it. Its unacceptable! You dont make mistakes and charge people more money to correct your mistake! I will take my hard earned money elsewhere next time & advise you all to do the same. Now, Im sitting here waiting even longer for him to correct it so our bank can finish the loan that is already approved just waiting for the correction to be made & at this point the whole remodel could have been completed had I used someone else. Maybe hes over worked?...But hes the one that said it was simple & that hed expedite it for more money!

Adam Nagel charged me over 5300 to not take my custody case in front of the judge and instead make deals with the opposing attorney. After signing all of my custody paperwork 1.) I barely get to see my son because of the contingencies in the paperwork 2.) I continue to get bills from him with no verification as to what activity was done on specific dates 3) I have asked Christy and Ashley (his assistance I am assuming) multiple times for now 3 months for an itemized invoice and they can’t provide it. During my case I had to print out all of the documents , create folders, call in my own witnesses. Adam continuously got confused as to what I was referring to during our one (1) in office meeting. The delay in getting custody documents signed after our “court agreement” took 2 months because of incorrect information - yet I continued to get charged for it (although I’m the one constantly revising, proofreading and emailing back the corrections). I will never hire him again and if you have a custody case, something as important and sensitive, don’t waste your time, energy or money on hiring Adam or his ill equipped staff members.
