1 /5 Tim Cole: Used him 2 yrs ago on a child support case. Hired him and he calls me one day saying if I don’t give up my rights I’m going to jail per my ex’s attorney. And that I won’t be paying cs anymore. So I did it. Still paying cs to this day!! Stay away from him

1 /5 Thomas Cana: I would not recommend Jason Smith as an attorney. From the start, he promised the world but failed to deliver. It took a year and a half just to get supervised visits, which should have been handled much faster. Throughout the process, he was unresponsive and difficult to reach, leaving me in the dark for weeks at a time. To make matters worse, when I shared my honest experience in a review, he responded with threats of a lawsuit rather than addressing the concerns. That alone speaks volumes about his professionalism. If you’re looking for an attorney who follows through and keeps you informed, look elsewhere.

I can attest to the fact that his knowledge of the law far exceeds the majority of other counsels in the nation. His passion for the law and commitment to his clients is also truly commendable. 1 /5 Chris Bailey: ⭐ 1 star BEWARE – A Lawyer Who Will Take Your Money and Disappear I hired Jason Smith and paid him over $5,000 to handle my divorce and custody case. Over three years later, I still don’t have a finalized divorce—and worse—I haven’t been able to see my children. He rarely returns calls, makes promises he doesn’t keep, and when questioned, always has an excuse. I’ve since learned that I’m not alone. Several of his former clients have told me they experienced the exact same thing: delay, avoidance, and empty reassurances. It’s a pattern. If you challenge him or speak up about his lack of action, he’ll do whatever he can to discredit you—whether it’s bending the truth or outright lying. He’s even known to get negative reviews taken down to protect his reputation. Everything I’ve written here is true. Nothing is exaggerated. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone else. Do your research. There are lawyers out there who will actually do the job you pay them for. In my experience, Jason Smith is not one of them.

1 /5 William kulp: My sister hired him. He claims he did everything he said that him and my sister agreed upon. However thats not true. He took her money in March said the other party would be served by the end of the next week after receiving payment. Didnt do anything. My sister emailed him no response. Then in June of 2024 my sister called him and shes told that he cant find the other party. So your telling me for 3 months you didnt think to call email text her to let her no. Anyways she calls his office he tells her they cant find him in the state of Georgia. She gets off the phone with him and finds the other party in a minute. He then spoke with the other party which is against the law. And after he spoke with other party his whole demeanor changed and he tells my sister that she wont ever get her kids. She told this man or boy everything he acts like he doesnt have the whole situation it took almost 2 hrs to explain to him bc its alot. She never lied to you Jason Smith! He thought he was smart by replying to her comment here after the Georgia bar said they closed her grievance she filed bc she didnt respond to his response when in fact she sent it twice once on Aug 20th 202r when she received your response and again on Oct 9th 2024 bc the lady at the GA Barr said to send it again in an email which she did. Then doesnt hear anything till Jan 2025 from GA Barr. You think its over and its not. You have caused my sister so much stress she had a miscarriage on Christmas eve 2024.
