1 /5 Dion Turner: At the age of 51, Im trying to share information so other people dont get hurt or taken advantage of. Im going to start by saying this lawyer, Mr Christopher Piner, received a $3,000 retainer from me to represent my son in a Morgan County, Georgia case that was based around schizophrenia and a mental disorder. I have lived in Michigan for my entire life, which made getting a lawyer in Georgia very difficult for me as well as the logistics of everything. The only tool I had to find a lawyer was Google and Google reviews. I depended on that to try to help my son, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and ended up having a traumatic event happen while he was living with his mother in Georgia. Im posting screenshots of the correspondence that are numbered and colored to keep them together. Everything is self-explanatory. Chris Piner was a very good talker, and he could sell snow to an Eskimo. With that being said, once he received the retainer, he did a little bit of work in the very beginning, and then he just disappeared! He completely quit communicating with myself, my son that was in jail, and he never responded to the letter my attorney in Michigan sent him. I also provided a copy of that email in the photographs. So the only thing I can do now at this point is write letters to the Georgia State Bar and leave a review on Google, Facebook and any other platform I can find to hopefully prevent someone else being taken advantage of. This stress was added on top of having a son diagnosed with schizophrenia who was also involved in a tragic event. I truly hope the correspondence from the emails and text messages will provide enough information and cast an image of what Christopher Piners capabilities really are...... The choice is yours whether to hire him or not to hire him. The question is is will he show up for the job after he has your money!
