1 /5 J L: I bought a watch from this store as a birthday gift for my mom. I trusted the store and didn’t double check everything upon purchase (definitely my mistake there).
Since my mom had been busy with some issues, she opened the box a week late. When she finally checked the watch, she was shocked to find the leather strap already damaged and the back of the watch sticky. It did not feel like a new product at all.
We went back to return it when we finally had some free time, but unfortunately, exactly two weeks had passed and due to the one week policy, we weren’t able to return it. I understood that part, policies are polices, even though I wasn’t aware of it.
What truly upset me was the way we were treated. I stayed calm and explained the situation, but the response I got from the male staff was rude and defensive. The staff spoke to me in an upset tone, as if we were lying to them. when I pointed out that the leather strap looked worn despite not even being worn once, I was sarcastically told, “Well, it’s made in China.” That comment alone felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.
After just replacing the leather strap, the male staff yelled in the back room and ordered another staff to make sure we check everything carefully, not in the most friendly tone. Again, we were made to feel like we were the problem, even though we had remained polite.
Had the staff responded with even the slightest kindness or professionalism, we would’ve accepted the situation and moved on without resentment. Instead, the customer service was truly the worst. I was actually planning to purchase another watch for myself, but clearly not anymore. This store has completely lost my trust and my future business.
