Laurin Coleman I’m a distant family friend of Ms. Jay & it just so happened she was in my courtroom helping out another client this particular day. I wasn’t educated on what I was truly facing in court. I thought I could just pay my fine and walk out scot-free. I was beginning to get extremely nervous when I saw others actually going to jail, having their license suspended, and paying up to $2,000 in fines. This ticket threatened points on my license and a substantial increase in my insurance rates, despite the fact that it had been decades since my only other speeding ticket.
