5 /5 Johnseed McDanieldude: I maybe a little biased because I have known Gail and her family most my life. As us country folks say. they are "good people". Several years ago, Gail helped me get a policy for my place. I never thought I would have a claim but then came Helene. Countrywide and Gail were extremely responsive and helpful with my claim. In very short time, I had the claim entered and an adjuster on site. My claim was handed promptly and paid quickly. As far as insurance goes, I was treated fairly. I am thankful for a responsive agent in Gail, a fair and pleasant adjuster in Kent, and overall positive insurance claim. I will be going into year 4 with Countrywide this year.

5 /5 Jessica Hembree: There are so many great things I could say about Country Financial, but most importantly, there are many things I could say that is wonderful about Gail and the staff at Country Financial. Im mainly going to hit the audience, like me, who are young and dont know what they are doing as far as insurance goes. Gail is always there to answer any questions that you have. She assures that no question is stupid and really tries to make sure you understand everything. Its stressful seeing a page of numbers(representing money you need to have to be safe), but she makes it possible to understand. I also have to give a huge shout out to Lauryn Craft. She is amazing at getting back and in touch with clients with any questions and tasks that need to be done to benefit the customer. Overall, my experience with country financial has been wonderful because of the kind hearts that work here. Gail is not just your insurance agent, shes a friend. I highly recommend working with her.

1 /5 Mark Easler: I have used Country Financial Gail Wiley-Fortner’s agency for well over 2 years. She was recommended by my local bank as a source for insuring my business property in Washington County, Georgia. I believe my review to be an honest assessment of my experience with Country Financial and Gail Wiley Fortner. I personally found her response time and customer service to be terrible bordering on horrible. She would take days or weeks to respond to my calls. Initially, the policy was set up incorrectly and it took months to straighten it out which I did on my own because frankly I got tired of waiting on Gail to clear the matter up. Next, the premium for the carrier she directed me to was very expensive and provided very little coverage for a small amount of liability. I was always asking her to reevaluate my policy and look for another carrier but she lazily always managed to say this particular carrier was the best she could find (she didn’t look very hard or none at all…more than likely none at all). She finally called me back today on a Friday late afternoon at 4:30p (this is called ‘clearing off your desk’ all the garbage calls you didn’t want to make during the week) to say once again she will request a rate reduction and reevaluate my coverage because now the construction aspect is over (it only took her 2 weeks this time to respond). Todays call was to let me know she would try once again to call me back with the same ole dog-eared response, “Let me look into that.” The old adage applies here, “Too little too late.” Sometimes it’s a relief to fire someone when all they are to you is a dead body and carrying around dead bodies is never a good thing. Gail is a dead body! Maybe she works hard for some people but I am not those people. I write this review to say you were warned and I’m crying “Uncle.” I see no value in paying/supporting someone to do a bad job for me and I sure don’t want to carry a cull or dead body around with me just for the sake of having the Southern man’s illusion of being nice.

Her knowledge of the insurance industry coupled with her patience and expertise made our transition to Country financial a simple and pleasant one. She was able to find a plan that suited our family well and she worked to keep that plan within our budget; while not loosing the benefits and coverage we needed. We were treated with dignity and respect. Thanks Gail for your help and services.

Furthermore she is really great about contacting us enough so that savings are collected but not so much that she inconveniences our lives. She doesnt "hound" us rather she lets know what offerings Country provides and answers our needs quickly & efficiently. I highly recommend her.
