1 /5 Yong Lee: Never had a more infuriating experience than I had with this group of incompetent fools at DeSalvo.
It started off nicely, the lady Kate was able to answer all my questions and got the process going. I told her about my situation and my deadline, and was told that she would take care of all of that, including sending over all insurance documents to my lender.
Fast forward 2 days to today, my lender is saying nobody from Farmers or DeSalvo ever contacted them. After emailing Kate multiple times (by myself and also by the lender) I called their number and spoke to Maddie that told me that Kate wasnt there as she was on vacation.
When I mentioned how unprofessional this was for her to leave on vacation without letting me know who to contact during her absence or have an auto-reply set up so that urgent emails wouldnt end up in the void, Maddie just brushed it off like I was annoying her.
Maddie told me that she would forward insurance documents to the lender, but one document would have to be emailed to me and then I would have to forward.
After waiting an hour (the deadline to send all documents is today by end of business day), I emailed her asking for the document, just to get a response that because my name wasnt on the policy, she cannot send it to me.
While this is 100% understandable, these idiots had no problems sending every single document to my email, including the final document that I had to e-sign. Now all of a sudden you guys grew a conscience or you be aware of the law?
Now Ive tried calling Maddie and the agency at least a dozen times and not a single person is picking up the phone or getting back to me.
It is absolutely shocking how inept this group is, and if getting your home insured is of any importance to you, skip these fools.
If you want to do whats right, I want a phone call from either Kate or the Corey (I assume the owner).
