5 /5 Oceana Weaver: We were in an auto accident last year, that wasnt our fault! And my husband and I both sustained injuries. The other peoples insurance company accepted 100% liability for that accident. Wed never had to deal with anything like that before. We just assumed their insurance company would take care of all our hospital and doctor bills related to the accident. We later discovered that all their insurance was required to take care of was the liability amount of their clients policy, which was $25,000 bodily injury/$50,000 max per accident. My husband needed 2 surgeries and I need one because of the accident. My husband has health insurance (so thankfully, hes gotten his surgeries now and on the way to a full recovery), but I dont (so Im still waiting for the settlement to come in so I can pay for mine). $50,000 wasnt going to cover 3 surgeries or office visits, medication, loss of wages, etc.
However, we had vehicle insurance through Progressive and Joanne Taliant made sure we had enough coverage to begin with! So our uninsured motorist is covering what their insurance didnt cover! Without that, I dont know what wed do. It may seem like a lot, for Award Insurance Group to require their clients to have a minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000, but trust me, if you ever end up in our shoes youll be glad you have that kind of coverage!
Joanne has always looked out for us and our family and always answered ALL my dumb questions with grace, patience and sometimes even laughter, but shes a wonderful agent who really takes care of her clients!!!!! Thanks for everything yall do Award!
