She was very prompt and professional, and was able to assist me without any hesitation. It is always a pleasure to do business with local people that care about their customers. I would highly recommend talking to Donna for your future. Banking needs.

1 /5 GP Kiefer: I am leaving a negative review for Ameris in general because they advertise and offer the ability to open all accounts online but automatically deny the application. This is done strictly for new accounts but the website does not state this officially so you waste your time inputting your details and information only to be informed by an impersonal email. That is also a lie. I had to call only to find out that you must visit a branch in person to open and account. If that is so, what is the point in providing sensitive data like your SS number, drivers license and address as well date of birth...etc, online for the application only to be denied. Complete lunacy went into designing this obtuse system.

Most recently, I needed help on very short notice, and once again, they delivered beyond expectations. Branch Manager Ann and Assistant Branch Manager Donna deserve a special shoutout. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. Even with last-minute needs, they handled everything quickly, efficiently, and with a genuine personal touch. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated and consistent over the years. Thanks to Ann, Donna, and the entire Winder branch team for always making banking such a smooth and pleasant experience. Truly a 5 out of 5 service—every single time!
