5 /5 Susanne Riley: I was the victim of a car accident that totaled my car and caused permanent damage to my legs. I originally hired a different attorney who after a year got nothing completed. I terminated him and changed to Shapiro Law Office’s. Thank goodness I made that decision because they had it completed in 4 to 5 weeks with a total payout from the at fault man’s Insurance company! They are very easy to work with and access in reaching my amazing paralegal, Karina Eden or my most talented attorney, Randall Austin was always a pleasant experience. When I needed to call them, I was always able to speak to them. As a matter of fact, one time when I called Attorney Austin he was out of the office and the receptionist asked for my phone number and within minutes Attorney Austin called me. I don’t believe that kind of service happens very often with other law firm. I cannot rate them high enough and If I could give them more than 5 stars I certainly would. I highly recommend them and their qualifications! Going with Marc Shapiro‘s law office was one of the best decisions I have ever made!! They made a difference in my life and hopefully they can do the same for you.

1 /5 Morgan Betten: Find another personal injury attorney! There are thousands out there, and if you have a serious case, I recommend interviewing before ever signing anything with anyone. This firm has shown me that lawyers are the snakes they are often portrayed as. I can tell you firsthand that this particular firm lacks communication, cohesiveness among one another, and the will to fight your case. They seem to have an extremely high turnover rate with their staff which also indicates internal issues galore. If you have a SERIOUS, complex personal injury case that requires attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with the client - run far away from this firm. In my case, this involved my minor (infant) child and using this firm was the biggest mistake I made in trying to help her. Do not let them tell you they are experienced in daycare cases, as they lied and told me. From start to finish it was a nightmare, including me having to coach my attorney into seeking discovery and refusing to let him talk me into settling at their first mediation and low ball offer. Then, they rushed into settlement as soon as they heard it hit my bare minimum, without explaining to me the process and despite my desire to take it to trial. It’s clear they just wanted a larger portion of the settlement without doing the work. Because it’s was a minors case, I never formally approved the settlement and the lawyer simply petitioned directly to the judge after going quiet for more than a month - despite me hesitating and not being fully on board. Once that was in motion, it was nearly impossible to reverse. They neglected to communicate what was happening, how the process worked, or whether I was truly on board with the settlement despite me consistently reaching out to make contact to discuss and ask about the progress of the case. At certain points they even lied to me about what was going on to cover up their own shortcomings (like forgetting to complete tasks they told me were already done). Lack of transparency from your representation is unacceptable. From settlement on was the worst experience for 7 months of my life. Of course, initially it was “this will be done next week” (Dec 2024). After that, it was like they forgot I was a client at all and stopped working efficiently and closely on the case - which may seem fine in a regular personal injury case, but a minors personal injury case involves a LOT of after settlement work including a guardian ad litem, trusts, specialized bank accounts, and restrictions. None of which they could (or would) properly explain to me, or even how it all worked. As if it was the cherry on top, despite receiving the settlement it took them nearly a month to actually disburse the funds, once again neglecting to communicate with me when i called and emailed to find out where it was. Despite working with them for over a year, they never knew my daughter’s name (their client) and misspelled her name on multiple court documents as well as incorrectly listing her address which caused a number of issues. If they can’t get simple information in a computer system right, it should be no surprise they don’t remember the details and complex issues of particular cases. Please do your research and choose a better lawyer for your case. If you have a car accident where you’re “injured”, then these ambulance chasers can maybe get the job done (but not without being in bed with the insurance company and coercing you into smaller settlement so they can avoid work). Otherwise, find a lawyer who actually cares because this firm doesn’t. The tagline “big enough to handle serious cases, small enough to care” was a lie on both counts. Steer clear.
