1 /5 Dennis Ore: Mr. Witt has recently been appointed as my payee to handle my VA disability benefits. I have made several requests to speak directly to Mr. WItt and still to this day I am disregarded and told by his staff he is the Mayor of Lake City and he is extremely busy. I am left to have to deal with one particular staff that is completely rude out spoken and completely inappropriate. I will contact The Department of Veterans Affairs and have him removed as my payee immediately. Disabled Veterans nor anyone should be treated so disrespectful by his staff for his paid services

5 /5 Brett Swanson: I was unaware that Mr. Witt was the current Mayor of Lake City, FL until after I sought his help on a real estate issue. He was very helpful and gave expert advice while also billing a reasonable flat rate for his services. Family practice run out of his home office. The Maps pin is accurate.

1 /5 Shanna Parris: We sought help with real estate issues we were having, he said in the consultation that he knew about real estate etc .. we paid him and all he did after 4 months was write 2 letters and told us that he never got a response from the letters .. we ask what was next and he said I dont know to contact the realtors association is Tallahassee and ask them what we should do .. I was very disappointed, I feel like he took our money and didnt really do anything but write 2 letters .. to me that wasnt enough for what we paid .. hes a nice person but I wouldnt recommend him for anyone needing a lawyer for real estate issues.

3 /5 Carlos Chapa: Good experience but more clarity would help. The attorney himself was fast and effective. He was also very kind. I think he knows very well his job and takes it seriously. I also checked the Florida Bar Association, and he is indeed a fully accredited attorney with good standing. The will was processed in only one hour. This was very efficient. The meeting with the attorney himself was less than half an hour. The only complain is that over the phone, I thought the charge was going to be $300 for a very simple will for a 21 yo (my son), but it turns out to be $380 in total. The consultation fee of $80 was not included in the phone quote I requested. I dont think this was explained in my phone call. These are things that have to be explained very, very clearly to avoid confusions. This was kind of hard on me because I am in a budget. I would still recommend to go to this attorney but to clarify the fees in advance. This is something I did -- and I usually do it all the time. But Id try to ask this same question twice in two different times (the second time the same day when you call to double check for the appointment). You can, however, expect a good, professional service from the attorney.
