Having sold my property I contacted Arun Sharma at Statewide Insurance on 3 separate occasions to ask him to cancel the flood policy. He simply ignored the request and failed to even respond to the last two e-mails.
As a result Ive had to file a complaint to ASI / Progressive directly (which is a challenge in itself).
I will not use this agency again and would not recommend to anyone based on this experience.
Update: Regarding Mr Sharmas response, he obviously had the opportunity to explain himself in private, and all it would have taken was a simple reply to one of the three e-mails he ignored.
Instead it took a public review to get him to communicate.
If you feel, as Mr Sharma does, that expecting a company to bother replying to you constitutes unreasonably high expectations, then by all means use Statewide.
