1 /5 Heath Ingram: Going to remain one star until I have an explanation as to why my account was closed with a 4 day notice only by email while Im dealing with family issues and emailing me asking for my social after I had given it all to them in person the day I signed up. So not replying to an email within such a short timeframe especially after Ive gotten two emails about e-statements showing everything normal is grounds to just close my account? Highly unprofessional and maybe my whole family should find a new place we can actually trust in.

5 /5 Jenn Sineath: I recently needed to open an estate account. After trying several banks in Winter Haven and Bartow, I went to South State Bank in Bartow (Winter Haven branch was useless). I had the pleasure of meeting Maria. She was wonderful! We went through all the documents I had, she let me know what I still needed, scanned what she could and waited until I was able to get the rest of the items. Once I was able to get them and give them to her, she opened the account. It was so easy working with her and she did it all with a smile and kindness. Thank you Maria!

1 /5 Janice Garner: I’m in the process of closing my account. They have completely messed up my credit card so I can close that out and I will be paying that off. Give me back Center state. It’s kind of funny because the same people work there. Reported fraud on my account they have completely just messed up as far as I’m concerned. No need to send me any kind of cordial not meaning answer. Have made transition to Suntrust send me known as truest

1 /5 Joel Arias: Very difficult bank to cash a payroll check at. I have had issues in previous months as well. My boss is looking into finding an easier bank for his employees payroll. would not recommend Comment left by the branch manager did not help. I called and its the branches decision on whether to cash my check or not and they refused to again this month. Now i have to go pay a fee elsewhere to get my payroll or wait a few days for my bank to release full funds.
