Unfortunately, toward the end of the process, Charlie left the firm to start his own practice, and my case was transferred to David Black. My experience with David was disappointing. It felt like he had no interest in my case and was simply looking to move it off his desk. During mediation, he seemed disengaged and even joked around with the mediator, who also behaved unprofessionally by encouraging me to accept the settlement. The two of them seemed more focused on their weekend plans than advocating for me. As someone unfamiliar with the legal process, I felt pressured into settling for an amount that was far too low—one that didn’t even come close to covering potential future surgeries or my out-of-pocket medical costs. David assured me that any ongoing issues would be covered by my health insurance. While some were, I still paid thousands in co-pays and deductibles. To this day, I deal with constant pain and physical limitations caused by the accident. Not long after, I was also dropped by my insurance company. If youre looking for a firm that truly lives up to the promise of “not settling for less than you deserve,” I would recommend looking elsewhere. My experience with Harrell & Harrell was deeply disappointing and left me feeling unheard and undervalued.
