5 /5 Larry S.: An absolute "class act" law firm. I knew the type of firm, style, representation and approach that I wanted for my case. Well, it came to fruition and started with my initial email, including some preliminary information, to the firm on a weekend. Not expecting a reply until at least the following Monday, Belinda Herrera, Office Manager, replied back to me that weekend asking if I had a particular attorney in mind, was so professional and pleasant in our email exchanges and our phone conversations that followed after the weekend to schedule a meeting. She has been consistently friendly, professional and sweet with every call and/or visit I have made to the firm. Well, next comes Jack Long, a very experienced attorney, who I had asked to represent me. BTW, based on my research, every one of the attorneys in this firm are highly qualified and I wouldnt hesitate to have represent me. Jack calls me from his cell phone that same weekend, while he is in California, to introduce himself to me, chat a bit about my case, and then asks me to call Belinda on Monday morning to schedule a meeting with him in his office to get started on my case. What attorney does that? That initial experience with Jack spoke volumes to me. Jack is not only a great, experienced and caring attorney who listens to your wishes as his client, he is thorough in his preparation of the case, goes in with a resolution mindset and is also a "good man". Jacks style is exactly what I wanted in an attorney to represent me. And next we have, Samantha Richardson, paralegal extraordinaire. What can I say, Samantha is absolutely fantastic. I felt comfortable with her from our very first meeting. She is so down to earth, sweet, humble, intelligent, proficient and definitely kept us all on point. Sam played a key role during mediation to get our case wrapped up that day. I am so fortunate that I got to meet Jack, Sam and Belinda who all added compassion besides their professionalism and knowledge to my case and I am also blessed that I can call them friends. Thank you Jack, Sam and Belinda!

I would place myself in the hands of Michael Shemkus and his team, Sam and Belinda, every single time. The best interest of my child remained of paramount importance from the beginning. I first came to the firm in 2017 when Michael was an associate and recently found myself needing his legal guidance again. Now a partner, he continues to be a guiding light of reason, reassurance, and tact during challenging situations. Incredibly astute, knowledgeable, and tirelessly advocating for his clients, Michael is prepared for every scenario and every outcome. Though no one wishes to find themselves needing a legal team, I feel immense comfort knowing that Michael, Sam, and Belinda will be mine.

1 /5 Evan Tuccillo: Im writing this review as a warning to others considering Michael Shenkus representation. Beware of the false promises and subpar service that will be provided. My experience with Michael was a perfect storm of unmet expectations, unprofessional behavior, and a staggering lack of accountability. Throughout my custody case, Michael consistently demonstrated a disturbing disregard for my families best interests and a fundamental lack of respect for my time and energy. His mistakes were not only frequent but also costly, as he would charge me to rectify issues that were entirely of his own making. The absence of accountability was abundant, and the financial burden became that much worse because of his incompetence. To add insult to injury, Michael repeatedly over promised and underdelivered, leaving me feeling like I was stuck in a never ending cycle of frustration and disappointment. His lack of professionalism was palpable, and I often felt like I was just another paycheck to him rather than a valued client. If youre considering hiring Michael, I urge you to think twice. My experience was a waste of time, energy, and resources. There are far better, more competent attorneys who genuinely care about their clients well being and will provide the level of service you deserve. Avoid the headaches that come with Michaels representation. Choose an attorney who will prioritize your needs and provide the professionalism and respect you deserve from the start.

5 /5 Casey Doria: Filing for divorce was such an overwhelming experience but Mr. Jack and his team were so gracious but vigilant in advocating in my best interest and still honoring my wishes from my first consultation. Everyone including Belinda at the front desk and the "dream" team of Samantha, Deborah, and Jack somehow manage to create a warm and safe journey for such an awful event in life. And Jacks pure honesty is just such a welcome surprise and refreshing.
