1 /5 anonymous anonymous: Hired this attorney because of the good reviews, only to be blind sided by her lack of communication and obvious unwillingness to help my case. She charged more than double of other attorneys for a divorce case. I was naive and didnt know any better - found this out after the fact. She padded her bill - charging $1000 to "drive a document to a courthouse" when she actually e-filed it. She charges for every copy, postage stamp, email, phone call, etc., padding time on all of this. I had no way of knowing if all of this was legitimate, though I doubt most wasnt. Also found out after the fact that she is good friends with the opposing attorney, which would explain why I felt like she was working for the other side. My ex constantly called his attorney with lies about me, only for my attorney to call me upset and hostile over this. This was the only time I actually received a phone call from her. Additionally, she has a very heavy case load, with only one paralegal helping her. The paralegal was also hostile to me on a regular basis. It was clear they didnt want to fight for my case, but was happy to take my exuberant retainer fee and bill it out as quickly as possible. If I could give zero stars I would.
