1 /5 Julianne Barton: It has taken me a long time (several months) to be calm enough to write this review. I try to only tell the good things and leave the bad events alone with hopes the other parties work out their issues as everything is subjective, but in this case, I feel to help others I must say DO NOT HIRE THIS LAW FIRM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY A FATHER/SON TEAM OF SUBPAR, UNIMAGINABLY UNSAVVY LAWYERS. You will at a minimum receive bottom of the class results and no mercy should you not see eye to eye. They said anything they had to to make me feel comfortable enough to sign their long contract and send them the entire $12,000 up front that I had just sold my car to get. I had a public defender who tried legal incompetence and I had already seen the doctor who had already told the judge I was competent. They are ROBOTIC and either are very unattached to the plight of their clients or unable in some compacity to tailer the action they plan to take to their client’s specific scenario. I begged them to return my money in tears because going that route would only keep the case going and cause me to have to go see more doctors just to prove that. So I asked in front of the judge when I asked her to sever my ties to him in court to refund my money but Mr. Lee refused when he knows I’m a recently divorced unemployed, disabled, second time hurricane victim living in temporary FEMA housing while trying to rebuild my devastated home. He actually tried to sob story me and tell me things to make me feel sorry for HIM which I did at first. He tried to use an already tried and incoherent defense (legal incompetence) for a first time DUI I got at 9:30 AM at the bank after the first hurricane when I was actually innocent and having a panic attack. He refused to tell the truth and present my evidence to the state attorney and judge even as I begged him to just get it wrapped up even if I was punished, however he could. Found out, they never even watched the police video or looked at my discovery when they had it for a long time. Zero effort. This case had been going over a year and making me look bad while I’m fighting for custody of my daughter. No matter what I said he acted like a robot telling the judge I was legally incompetent like nothing I said mattered. And it didn’t to them. Not fair businessmen and not sharp. I would never have written this review had they not been so empty and heartless towards a sobbing woman telling the truth and innocent of her charge. Side note, take it for what it’s worth, I never even saw the man’s face because he never removed the COVID mask he is still wearing in 2025 when we met at court. So I guess don’t expect to really know who you’re dealing with unless you plan to ask him to remove it.
