5 /5 matt dalbec: After a storm last year I called a couple roofing contractors to look at our roof and they told me our roof had storm damage. I called our insurance company to file a claim. The adjuster came out to inspect the roof and initially agreed with the contractors, even telling me how the payment process would go due to the age of our roof. A few days later I got a claim denial email. I reached out to the "claim owner" at the insurance company and she told me the damage was from age, not storms and that they would not review my claim any further. I reached out to Stephen Difato and sent him the insurance companys pictures, report, and my policy info. Stephen took my case. He said it might take a little while because the insurance company would take the maximum amount of time allowed to respond to each filing, which they did. It took about 9 months and Stephen sent me a check for what my insurance company would have paid out for my initial claim. Stephen worked his fees right into the settlement so it didnt cost me anything. I talked to Stephen a couple times on the phone and sent a few emails and that was all it took from me. The process couldnt have been easier, unless my insurance company would have done the right thing in the first place. I would recommend Mr. Difato to anyone that has been denied a legitimate claim.
