Extremely easy to talk to and very good at making sure my wife and I understood everything. He was always available to answer any questions we had and trust me we had a lot! He was just a pleasure to deal with.

1 /5 Patrick R Smith: It seems that after people cash up their checks, totally forget about you as a valuable customer. Meaning, that a year later you have a problem, and you need some questions to be answered, your phone calls and emails are no longer important. You are pretty much on your own.

1 /5 kyle berven: Haven’t had issues with my loan as of yet. Have tried to cancel my PMI for over 2 years now with no luck. We have been well past the threshold for needing PMI on our loan (78% LTV according to their terms), but there seems to be an endless supply of mixups and red tape which they put up to stop us. First it was that we hadn’t made enough upgrades to the home, even though the home had appreciated with others during the time post covid. Then they said they had an appraiser reach out to us who never did. It’s the usual runaround you’d expect from a government or insurance agency, but extremely frustrating to deal with when it’s costing you money every month.

5 /5 Mar Barone: Get ready for a long review about the WONDERFUL Scott Kopko: When I was 7 months pregnant I was left by the father of my child. I was living in Ohio, and had no help. I was in the hospital every other day my whole pregnancy due to HG, lost over 30lbs, had to wear a zofran pump, and had to leave my job because of my ex. After having my son, I needed to move to Florida to be with family. I needed a place for us, but that I could move my mother into as well. Buying a home for us was the best option, so I started my home buying journey. From the beginning Scott was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and went out of his way to explain EVERYTHING - some things a few times because Im not great with numbers. He was always accessible. Having a 9-5 job as a single mother - being able to call him at 10pm to work on everything was beyond helpful. He went above and beyond to help me with finding the right loan for me since I didnt have money for a down payment, and needed a mortgage in a very specific price range. He had everything done fast, and made it so simple; however, other things didnt go as planned. I had found a home, but after months of waiting, the builder called me to tell me that the closing was going to be pushed out months. At the same time I was being served for a custody battle for my son. I began to lose hope I would have a home for my son. We were living in bedrooms of family members, sharing a bed, and just getting by financially. If you have children, you understand how difficult not having a home could be with a child under one year - hahaha. Scott called me with hope, and told me to look elsewhere. He told me that if I could find a different home, he could close me in 20 days. I wanted to give up, be he wouldnt. By the grace of God I found a home that had only been on the market for 9 days. It was 10x better than the first home, and move in ready. As promised, Scott had me closed within 3 week. The terms and conditions of my loan are amazing. My payment is affordable for a single mother, her son, and being able to take in my mother. Scott got me an awesome deal with this loan - and was a friend through it all. I cant say enough not only about Scott as a salesmen, but as a wonderful human being. He kept my hopes up when everything was crumbling, and he got me in my new home, financially comfortable, faster than I would think possible. Thank you Scott, from my son and I, for everything you have done for us. You are a blessing.
