I walked in and asked if I could have a document notarized, the woman in the desk directly in front of the door asked me to speak english, wich I was speaking. Asked for the document, looked at them and threw them back to me and said she doesnt does that. I thank her and left. Very disappointed since I am a. Attorney in another US Jurisdiction.

1 /5 Cole Marie: Can’t get her on the phone ever. If you wanna pay 10k to only talk to her receptionist then go ahead but that’s the only person you’re going to talk to. Everything she told us was so far from the truth. I don’t want to say she lied because over the course of two years we only talked to her a hand full of times but everything her office told us and everything she told me in court was a lie. You’re better off burning your money and praying to the heavens above than hiring her.

5 /5 Sabirr Breon: I went to Melanie for custody court, I am a black father who lives in Pennsylvania who was going against a mother in Florida. During it all as a client I wanted to know everything ask questions all day and Melanie’s communication was not quite there. I would constantly call asking if there was anything new. When there was not. Frustrated I thought maybe this isn’t it. Then Melanie got to court. She not only showed that she listened to everything I said, although it may not have been talked about, but she also did her own research. That’s when I learned that I have to be patient cause half the stuff she brought up in court if she would’ve told me I might’ve opened my mouth and the other side would have a one up. Yes the communication is not the best but her work ethic and listening is there. I’m here to say I won my case I’m able to bring my child from Florida to Pennsylvania due to Melanie doing her job.

Well before calling her to speak with her about my issue, I left my information she called back as promised within 5 minutes several times before I made an appointment to meet with her in the office. I read the bad reviews and they are absolutely correct. She made promises on how she will solve this simple issue quickly and that was in April and today I’m still in court November. When I say I have the simplest case I truly mean that, she does not talk to you before your name is called in court, she does not communicate with you at all or does not call you back. You can leave several messages and her receptionist always make excuses of why she hasn’t called back on excuse after another. I thought she will continue the communication and standby what she said she will do that’s the only reading I retained her, but after she gets your money and you sign a contract stating you will not receive a refund if you are not satisfied with her work etc you pretty much stuck because your money is there, there are good lawyers out here that is truly professional, that communicates with clients and standby their words in Ocala and by personal experience you need to look elsewhere and stay away from here you will be kissed off. One or several reviews clearly stated that all of her MOTIONS GET DENIED THAT IS ALSO TRUE TO FACT. I should have stayed away, but when you hear good promises, you take your chances I’m sorry I believed this lady.
