5 /5 Elaine Deering: Yesterday my watch strap broke so l decided to replace my watch with a new one. I selected an attractive design with all 12 Arabic numerals, a secondhand, and easy to read font. To my utter disappointment, about 6 hours later, it stopped working altogether, so l looked on Google for a watch repair place near me. Soon l found myself at Fast-Fix Jewelry & Watch Repairs, about 30 minutes away from closing, but the owner assured me he could repair and clean it in less than 10 minutes. He did a thorough job and now l can return to my university job with an attractive and accurate timepiece at an amazingly reasonable price. Thank you, Fast Fix. You brought a smile to my face and a great start to the school year!

5 /5 Alan Gruskin: Great same day service, promised on time. Watch was pressure tested and passed. Battery replaced with a one year warranty. Expect to pay more than a simple battery change. Tag would have charged 5 times as much and would take 2 months to return it to you.

I needed the watch for the next day so I bit the bullet on the cost but considering my family and I have been customers since they were a small kiosk in front of Macy’s, I am now very hesitant to return here for future watch servicing. These prices are just too high. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER’S REPLY: Even though you say i was a customer since 2016, I have been with you guys since far before (i wouldn’t be in your system because my parents would have done the servicing for me. Like I said, we’ve been with you guys since you were a small kiosk in front of Macy’s. In any case, why was I auto-upsold when i just wanted a battery replacement? THIS $16.95 option YOU NOW MENTION FOR JUST A BATTERY REPLACEMENT (let alone any other service option) WAS NEVER MENTIONED TO ME. I was led to believe that this was the one option available. I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that this was an oversight from your employee but I find this interaction with your business especially given your explanation to be in poor taste. I will certainly be contacting you at the provided number to discuss this as I am hoping this is simply a one time mistake (and because I have another watch that needs work done).
