I visited this Schwab investment office in person to clarify a single item and drop off a form. Instead of receiving helpful service, I was essentially laughed at by the two staff members at the front desk. They incorrectly dismissed the form as unnecessary and told me to take a different route.
After three frustrating weeks of online chats, phone calls, and unnecessary back-and-forth, it was finally confirmed that the original form was in fact the correct and required one. This misdirection caused a significant waste of my time, energy, and the time of several Schwab and my banking representatives.
This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed unprofessional behavior at this location. On multiple visits, there has been an odd dynamic between the two front desk staff that adds to the discomfort. I expect better professionalism and knowledge from a firm like Schwab. Very disappointed.
