2 /5 G-Mitch: I have been banking ( Checking and Savings) with Capital City in Starke for a number of years…since 1995 prior to it becoming Capital City. During this time and now I have active ‘ direct deposits’ each month from. Social Security and Teacher’s Retirement , and maintains a large significant balance. Yet l am charged $6.95 each month for Service Fees. . What service? This, in my opinion, very unethical. I totally disagree and is strongly considering withdrawing and or transferring ALL of my monies from these accounts and begin banking with another institution.; .$83.40 a year is too much to give to a bank !!

5 /5 Kim Nugent: I wanted to inform capital city Bank here in starke fl . How amazing one of there bank representatives are . Her name is Kanaya . Her and another Yung lady . I didnt get the yung ladys name that helped me getting my mothers bank statements. I would also like to recommend her as well . You see my mother has a mental disability. Which caused her to get a representative. I tell you it has been one of the hardest things I have had to deal with since I was a child . My mother has taken the bank statements out of the mail . Including my personal mail . Thrown them out . Im missing 2 checks and she cacellled her ssi more than once and we have had to start all over . Again and again. She told me this morning of April 2 2023 that the bankers at capital city Bank told her to take the statements and throw them away. Which she did . I paid 200$ to retrieve all the statements so that if social security had any questions I could provide them with the info. I tell you Mrs Kanaya spoke so respectfully was so very patient with me very professional. She explained to me that my mother could not have talked to any one there THEY only talk to the rep could assure me that the bank would never tell my mother to throw away something so important. I then talked to my mother and she confirmed shes fibbing. Kanaya understood that I was having trouble and gave me the best options to handle the issue at hand . She set me up with on line banking and it was so very helpful. I just thought it to be very important that her team knew how much of a help she was to me and my mother. SHE spoke slowly and made sure I was on a complete understanding about on line banking and the services that I would be receiving. I could clearly hear her and enjoyed working with her to resolve the issues at hand. Thank you capital city for your wonderful customer services and helping with my momma . YoU guys are amazing and i hope you guys never change. Stay blessed my friends.
