1 /5 Bobby Milton: Hire more tellers, Greedy Mega Corp. I should have stuck with a smaller bank. I spent 30 minutes in line for a 30-second transaction—unacceptable for the second-largest bank in America. You had one teller managing the entire holiday rush alone. Show some compassion for your staff. Maybe share a portion of those multimillion-dollar paychecks and bonuses to improve customer service and working conditions.

1 /5 Mindi W: We switched from Truist after 40 years because Bank of America is close to home and more convenient. Unfortunately, I have never used the BofA inside service without standing in line 15 minutes or more. There is always only one teller and she is very very slow. Today she waited on one client for 10 minutes, and just when I thought she was done she asked how he’d like the cashier check! The annoyed person in line in front of me had been waiting even longer. I simply wanted to change larger bills for singles. I left without completing my transaction. The people behind me were probably glad I left! Please have at least two tellers at all times!! The wait time at this branch is ridiculous. Your one teller has no concept of time or others in line and is very slow. You are a huge bank and can afford to hire tellers!! I could’ve driven to Truist and back in the time spent waiting on your teller line! Edit: the response (from owner??) is a canned reply, no customer service, extremely disappointed. The websites given for Customer Care do not link directly to Customer Care or the branch. It would take time to dig around in order to relay my complaint to someone else. Terrible!!!!

1 /5 Bryan Walters: Truly, I would consider putting your money under your mattress before banking with Bank of America. Unfortunately, I’ve given over 15 years of my life to banking with this institution and finally I am parting ways. Not only do I bank with them personally, but I also bank with them with them within my company. Their new thing is holding your check as long as they possibly can before letting it clear, for what? Fraud prevention? In the past you used to be able to call them and they would release the hold if you have deposited checks from the same company before. They no longer do this, which is ridiculous. Our company deposits checks from the same businesses every single month and now every check that I deposit is nearly placed on a hold for seven days. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but it’s 100% driving me to switch banks. The sad thing is they will be around forever, and will never be held accountable for their stupidity and poor decision-making. But any bit of customer service that they once had is now gone. Good riddance BOA
