1 /5 FishingWithBigBaitBailey: Was told by a supervisor at corporate to head on down to the Clearlake branch to have the manager remove a hold that was placed on a check.45 minutes each way and 3 hours on the phone that morning. Manager at the Clearlake branch tells me she does not have the authority to remove the hold. They have told me 4 different reasons why they can not remove the hold and none of them are true according to corporate. Avoid this bank at all costs. A 10 day hold on a check is unheard of and will never happen again as I will be closing all 5 of my Wells accounts including my Amex account thru them. Do not use Wells Fargo period. Especially this branch and their horrible management.
