5 /5 Fabian Favila: Being self-represented in Family Court, I reached out to Viktoria for a consultation on analyzing the issues in my case and developing a strategy to present in court. Viktoria understood the challenge before me and helped me frame my argument before the judge. Viktoria kept me focused on the issues and pointed out a discrepancy in the judge’s Tentative Ruling (TR) that I did not notice. Viktoria coached me on how to address the discrepancy and how to phrase my issue to get the judge’s attention. Thanks to Viktoria’s coaching, the judge completely removed that portion of the TR. Viktoria also helped me frame my overall presentation on the other remaining issues such that I could tell the judge was seriously considering what I was saying. Without Viktoria’s coaching, my presentation before the judge would not have been as successful. Viktoria was also helpful in referring me to the appropriate Family Law codes for my further review and growth. I appreciate Viktoria’s patience, and understanding in seeing me through this, and her sense of humor is a plus.
