1 /5 Mark Pirie: John Schilt just returned my phone call and before even understanding the law at hand, began opining by incorrectly asking, "...have you even looked up the case law...". He did this without even knowing the law and after taking a few minutes to say he did not know the dictating California Statutes at hand. This experience with this person who is a barred attorney is so typical of people who think they know better, who think they are above others due to the misbelief they and only they hold the mysteries of the law. To people like John Schilt, this is their excuse, their justification as to their exorbitant fees they charge others. Talking to this person who refused to listen was beyond frustrating for me, and I told him so. I then let some time pass before calling him back to apologize for losing my temper and to find out if hed looked up the law that he did not know. Instead, this person was in a more self-barricaded position of denial of their own arrogance and delusion and instead focused on their "error" of not giving advice, which they did... John Schilt absolutely gave advice, and would not even admit that, on top of not knowing the law. Would you want this ego, that is so dense and thoughtless about the needs of others vis-a-vis their own deficits, to assist you? Is it possible for a person like this who refuses to simply look up the law that dictates, as if that is the most pertinent issue of the case, which it is not, it is John Schilt who chose to wrap himself around this axle, to assist anyone with a legal matter? This person is incapable of listening, incapable of empathy, and incapable of any aspect of humility, at least in the twenty or so minutes across two phone calls where he managed to try to turn the tables and personally attack me. I believe this person also has a real estate company in Point Richmond... just an FYI.
