5 /5 richard gabaldon: Recently, I was subject to what I believed was unfair employee discipline by my Law Enforcement agency. The penalty was unjust and I decided to fight the charges. 5 /5 Robert Christolon: Michael Williamson did an outstanding job defending me in a case where I bought a lien sale car from a tow yard, and my department (RSO) and the DA’s Office turned it into a bribe. As there was no crime, there was no prelim. So the DA went with the Grand Jury, the DA’s cheat. I was indicted for bribery. Michael represented well during my IA interview that was needed to terminate me. The result of that investigation and interview, by an independent investigator, determined I did not take a bribe and was not part of any criminal conspiracy. The investigation even showed where the report and testimony used to indict me was based on false testimony and information. RSO had the independent report rewritten. For myself, the rewrite also came to the same conclusion, I did not take a bribe and I was not a part of any criminal conspiracy. Instead of reopening the investigation with the new evidence, off to trial we went. During trial exculpatory evidence was hidden, suppressed, buried, ignored and limited. Michael fought and made objection to all of it. In the end I was actually found guilty and appeal is pending. Like something from Planet X, in the Green-arrow universe, the judge even asked the prosecutor before closing, “What did Christolon do?” Her response was, “I only need Christolon to get Flores!” At sentencing the Judge actually said, Christolon did not do anything that he should do time in custody for. So, I was sentenced to 2 years probation and 180 days of a work program. I believe the sentence without anytime was due to the efforts of Michael Williamson during trial. If you are falsely accused of a crime anywhere, especially in Riverside County, (Planet X in the Green-arrow Universe), you will get the best defense you can here. They will fight all the way for you.
