Throughout the process of our year-long search and eventual move, we relied heavily on Robert. Here are some of the many ways he stood out as an exceptional partner: Easy to reach - 98% of the time he picked-up when we called and the other 2% he or Sierra (wife and realtor) called us right back. Available - Robert was either able to meet us in person or have an excellent proxy (Sierra or another qualified realtor friend) show us houses whenever we could come to the area. Knowledgeable - Robert grew up in the area and knows the subtle changes in microclimates, cultures, and general vibes from house to house. We had a long and difficult-to-find wish-list, which involved figuring out well, septic, and general country living challenges. Robert was very familiar with all of the above since he and Sierra own a city and country home in the area and have a great deal of knowledge as people who enjoy outdoor gardening life. Our search spanned south to north from Petaluma to Santa Rosa and east to west from Glen Ellen to Occidental, with the goal area set as Sebastopol. He was patient, willing to drive far, and was familiar with all of the areas. Although we were not hiring him for his legal services, he brought that knowledge unofficially to the table as we considered our options. Welcoming - Robert gave us a tour of the area, recommended restaurants, and suggested events to attend so we could get to know the diversity of Sonoma County. He was clear that his family wasn’t going anywhere and would be helpful neighbours even after the move. Ongoing help and connections - We were not able to move in right away and called Robert for help when a leak was happening. He didn’t hesitate to come over to the property and check things out. As an avid gardener, he helped us identify the trees and plants on the property so that we could start to care for them. He also helped us find a general contractor, pool service company, and other professionals as we worked on the repairs and maintenance we knew were coming with the property we chose. It’s comforting to know that Robert is in the area and a trusted professional to turn to going forward. We love our new homeland couldn’t recommend Robert more.
