I faced some challenges from my ex-husband, who believed he was entitled to a portion of the settlement due to child support obligations. 2 /5 Osana Macias: I really wanted to give this law firm the benefit of the doubt. You fight for yourself and advocate for yourself. This law firm just files paper work and they barely do that correctly and in a timely manner. I regret not switching law firms when I had the chance. I had to keep calling them to follow up on what my next steps should be and they were always 3 steps behind me. For example, I would call to get an update on my case and they would tell me that they were waiting on the approval to see a new Doctor. Thing is … I had already been seeing the new doctor for 3 months already ! This same exact situation happened 3 times ! I had to keep reminding them that I’ve been seeing the new dr and we already had that conversation 3 times!! I felt like I was doing their job at some point. It’s time to start posting real reviews of these company’s ! Don’t believe all their bought reviews like I did. Oh and the pay out I still haven’t received because apparently they have any control about how long it takes …. They tell you 2 months and then start saying “we will call you, we don’t control how long it takes”. I have acquaintances who have sued the same company I went for , and they received MORE and FASTER payout. Don’t waste your time here. The whole office is a joke. EDIT: I’m glad I finally received a response it only took a review since the office wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor. I settled after the workers comp doctor stopped listening to me. I kept telling your office that there was more to the injury that the workers comp. Doc was ignoring and I needed a second opinion and the office ignored me as well and did not direct me on what my options were. You guys took an easy payout case that required little to no effort on your part in order to get me the bare minimum. You try and find excuses to justify your work instead of taking responsibility and building a better company. My biggest regret will be not switching attorney when I had the chance.
