Lauren Watterson was our loan officer and she made the entire process from start to finish so smooth, simple and easy. From getting us prequalified for our loan so we could tour potential homes with ease, to working with us through closing the deal, Lauren was right there by our side the entire time. She was available in the evenings and on weekends, willing to work and take calls around our schedule. Her guidance was invaluable throughout the entire process! We are so grateful we had Lauren’s skill and experience to lean on when buying our home. We had such a wonderful experience working with her and Gold Standard Mortgage!

Helen Willoughby Peck I rarely post a review but felt that I should note my very positive experience as opposed to the many, many negative reviews. After reading all the reviews before my visit I expected the worst experience. But, to my surprise, I had a great experience. Bo, the manager greeted us as we walked in and directed us to an associate that would help us out. He was inexperienced and she hovered a bit to help him through. She was very knowledgeable and quickly understood that our road maintenance account had been set up incorrectly years ago and helped us fix a very messy situation. Our appointment went much longer than expected because of so many complications but they were both pleasant and patient. I did wait for a teller for another reason and there were three tellers available. The line was not that long. There seemed to be quite a few people in the lobby hanging around for a long time. I presumed they were waiting for an associate to help them. If you want someone (not a teller ) to help you, MAKE AND APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE and stop complaining about your wait time.
