Jean Hata I worked with Bertha at Farmers and couldnt have been more pleased with her service. She was professional yet down to earth in getting insurance for us when others would not or give us the run around. istvankm This bank does not help the poor. After my wedding and starting nursing school, I couldnt keep up with maintaining $3,000 in my savings account. Therefore, the bank was charging me $15 monthly "maintenance" fees. Now that Im trying to close my accounts with them, they wont let me leave! I have to zero out my accounts (take all my $$ out) and then the only way I can close my accounts is to call the company number (1-800). But they dont let you close for a few days. Probably because they know you still have automatic payments occurring and they want to make sure your account (with $0) is charged so they can squeeze more money out of you with overdraft fees! Its a going away present for BOA! It is definitely a time for a change! If you are tired of losing $$ from BOA, get out of there ASAP! Go to a bank that isnt as complicated and doesnt charge monthly fees! I am personally going to Golden 1 for their free checking. Cant wait to finally rid myself of BOA if they ever let me go!

Sandy Pelican These people are truly amazing. I had moved from Eureka, California to Oregon and a piece of mail got returned to the Eureka Branch.. Megan Davila made a very special effort to find me & call me to tell me about the piece of mail. After finding me she mailed it to my Oregon address. How many people do that? Nobody. I have always been impressed by the very personal service and attention to detail that these professional people have given to me over the 21 years that I have been with Umpqua. But the follow up and attention to me and my account is amazing. Umpqua Bank sets the standard for courtesy, attention to detail and professionalism. Lupita Garcia It’s a beautiful small town to stay when visiting Yosemite, variety of food. Heads up if you want to go to visitors center to plan your trip , they close @5pm.
