5 /5 tm rb: Kara is awesome! Dad of twins in a long and complicated case. Kara is the 3rd attorney I’ve had and she was the only one to make real progress in getting my fair time with my children. Kara is very knowledgeable and knows how to take the stress out of the situation. Kara has gone the extra mile a number of times. Very passionate. Always feel better after Kara looks into it. I wouldn’t hire anyone else.

5 /5 Nina Demarest: I first used Kara’s services in March 2023. She helped ease my mind while waiting to go to court. She is a logical and quick thinker. She answered all my “what if” questions. Fast forward to May 2024 I had to modify an order and of course I retained Kara. I called Kara and asked if I was able to retain her again. I didn’t think she would have remembered my story but she did. It was really nice not to have to explain the back story and relive my traumatic experiences. 1 /5 Dominic Handy: My experience with Kara Schacher was an absolute nightmare. She charged me $6,700 for what should have been handled as a simple divorce and custody case. Even the Judge stated this, but Kara insisted on framing it as a DV case with no evidence to back it up, clearly preying on fear to inflate her fees. She never filed the appropriate paperwork or response, unnecessarily continued two court dates, and completely wasted my time and money. What made it worse is that she refused to meet in person, insisted on handling everything over Zoom, and was never in the area. It felt like she was completely disconnected from my case and uninterested in putting in the effort required to resolve it properly. I ended up firing her and hiring Ernest Casacca, who was a breath of fresh air. He handled everything professionally, has an actual office with a receptionist, and delivered real results. If you want someone who will fight for you and treat your case with the importance it deserves, go with Ernest. Think twice before retaining Kara Schacher, she’s an expensive mistake you don’t want to make.
