He explained that what my landlord was doing wasn’t legal, but also that he doesn’t represent tenants and wasn’t interested in my case. I went on to call another 20-30 landlord/tenant lawyers who gave me same response…they will never represent a tenant A few weeks later I was at Palm Springs Courthouse and Mr Casey was representing a tenant; “two Asian ladies who were running a business out of their house with different men coming at all hours” against a landlord who wanted it gone Mr Casey absolutely owned that landlord in court and the ladies got to continue running their suspected brothel. Ultimately I was confused after I saw Mr Casey representing these two ladies who were tenants. Mr Casey is a phenomenal lawyer but the experience reminded me that lawyers are scum
